About me:
I was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 1993 and have specialised in Family Law ever since. I am a member of Resolution.
I started my training with Birmingham City Council in their Legal Department where I assisted in cases involving child protection issues. In 1990 I married and moved to Norfolk and worked in a private practice undertaking all aspects of Family Law.
In 1995 I moved to Cambridge and have continued to practice in all areas of Family Law.
I have two adult children. I have a strong knowledge of Family Law and many of my clients have acknowledged the support that I have been able to offer during a very difficult process.
Outside work I enjoy running (I try to weekly!) as well as other fitness pursuits and in particular cooking and entertaining.
What can I do for you?
I have in excess of 20 years experience practicing all aspects of Family Law. This includes divorce, children matters, adoption, domestic violence and ancillary relief matters. I also have experience working on pre-nuptial contracts, cohabitation agreements as well as dissolution of civil partnerships.
I have developed a reputation amongst clients for my clear, concise and honest advice. I am dedicated to achieving the best outcome for clients whilst keeping an open mind and exploring all options to achieve a fair and cost effective resolution wherever possible. Each and every matter is different and I am able to work with clients to find the right legal process to suit them. This could be mediation or alternate dispute resolution or as a last resort court intervention.
My clients come from all walks of life, from people on income support to a top surgeon and university professors. I also worked on a case involving a premiership footballer. I offer sensible constructive advice with a focus upon a workable solution.
