I qualified as a solicitor in 1999. Before having children, I worked on commercial and residential property transactions in London and Bristol respectively.
Most recently I worked in Bristol as a residential conveyancing solicitor in a law firm dealing with high volume sales, purchases and associated mortgages to facilitate work-related relocations to the Bath/Bristol area. As well as having my own caseload of these matters, I oversaw aspects of other fee earners’ caseloads in the department. I have also acted on a variety of purchases of long residential leaseholds, so have experience of management company matters. My commercial property experience – acting for landlords in leasehold grants and tenant applications, means that my conveyancing experience is broad-based.
I joined Thomson Webb & Corfield in June 2017.
What can I do for you?
I can deal with your freehold or leasehold purchase, acting for your lender where necessary and, if applicable, a related sale. I can also deal with other residential property transactions and matters such as re-mortgages, sales of part, transfers of equity, assents under the terms of a Will and tenant leasehold applications.
Why come to us?
I have only recently arrived at Thomson Webb and Corfield, having started in June 2017. This has been long enough to see that the firm wins new business through recommendations and has the custom of longstanding clients, who come back again and again for legal advice, sometimes in a variety of matters. This is consistent with my impression of the firm having a friendly and approachable manner, together with high standards of professionalism.
