Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives having been admitted in 1993. Hema worked for the Birmingham City Council Legal Department specialising in Child Care for five years. Marriage took Hema to Norwich where she secured a position in Private Practice dealing with all aspects of Family Law. In 1995 Hema moved to Cambridge and continued practising all aspects of Family Law as well as becoming a member of Resolution. Even after 15 years of specialising in Divorce and Child Care Law Hema says that she continues to have a drive and passion to maintain a role in what can only be described as a very challenging emotive area of Law.

Last year Hema was instructed in a high profile child abuse case, one of Cambridgeshire Local Authority's largest cases, which attracted a fair amount of media attention. She is keen to continue to develop high profile child care cases.

Hema, her husband and 2 daughters live in Cambridgeshire. Anyone who may have been fortunate to have eaten at Hema's will say that she has a talent in fine Indian cuisine........
