Philip Speer

Philip read law at Sidney Sussex College and enjoyed life in Cambridge so much he stayed and has spent his professional career working in and around the City. Philip specialises in company and commercial law: he is Company Secretary to several public companies, and advises on flotations, acquisitions and corporate finance, but also acts for numerous local businesses, advising them on business start-ups, shareholders’ and partnership agreements and commercial contracts. He is a trustee of a legal education charity, and a governor of a local secondary school. Philip enjoys drafting complex legal documents, and hill-walking.
