I started at Thomson Webb & Corfield as head of the accounts team in 1997. Since then my role evolved into the Practice Manager, which includes helping the partners achieve the best practice standards in relation to the firm’s policies, procedures and office management systems.
Under my Accounts Manager title, I run the budgets and periodic reporting among other accounting functions. Myself and 3 cashiers deal with the day-to-day accounting.
I am an associate of the ILFM (Institute of Legal Finance and Management) and I am also the COFA (Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration) of the firm.
What can I do for you?
I see the whole picture across the whole firm. I provide help to the partners and all staff across our range of departments. I also assist clients with any queries they have regarding their accounts with us.
I assist with the administration side of running the partnership and provide help with all the policies, procedures and office management systems needed in today’s busy practice, which means that the partners have more time to dedicate on their client files.
We, as a firm, receive very good feedback from clients, but in the very few cases where a client is not happy, I try to put things right so that the mistake does not happen again.
If you are a supplier who wishes to gain our business please feel free to email so I may add your details to our supplier list.
Why come to us?
We have an excellent client-base and a very low turnover of staff. Many of our staff members have been with us since the beginning of Thomson Webb & Corfield and we are all like family.
We look after our clients and do not need to promote ourselves as most are loyal clients or recommendations. See our testimonial page for proof!
