About me:
Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2017, I have worked as a property lawyer in Cambridge and I joined Thomson Webb and Corfield in 2024 as a Senior Associate. I’m also passionate about equality, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing in the legal sector, sitting as Cambridgeshire Law Society’s EDI Officer and a trustee of the local branch of Mind.
What can I do for you?
I have worked on a wide variety of transactions from renewal leases of small shops and the sale of small pieces of bare land to complex overage agreements, sub-sales and multi-million-pound development projects, and can help you with most things in-between. I have acted for individuals, companies, trusts, investment funds, charities, and public bodies in the past, so whether you are taking your first steps in a brand-new business venture or have a portfolio of properties, I have experience of advising clients like you!
I am particularly interested in the sale, purchase and letting of licensed premises and spent a year on a part time secondment with the Pubs Code Adjudicator at a previous firm. Buying, selling or leasing a pub can involve a lot more than the property itself, but my knowledge and experience mean I can help guide you through all aspects of the deal and ensure that you are protected on a new letting, sale, or purchase.
I pride myself on my pragmatic approach and understand that you are more interested in practical solutions to help your transaction progress rather than a lengthy explanation with lots of legal jargon. I enjoy working on complicated or unusual matters and helping clients find a clear way through to get the outcome they’re looking for and truly believe it is our job as lawyers to help you understand the legal implications of your deal and make sure that the documents you sign reflect what you have agreed.
