About me:
I joined the firm in 2015 with over 30 years experience as a Solicitor. I am a Dementia Friend, supporting the campaign for better understanding of dementia issues.
What can I do for you?
I deal with private client matters which means that I can advise on wills and probate, administering estates, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection issues and trusts. I can also help with issues affecting elderly or vulnerable people. I also have experience in conveyancing and property related matters.
My clients tell me that they find me sympathetic and a good listener. Often they say that meeting me is much less daunting than they expected and many say that they wish that they had come to me earlier.
Why come to us?
Dealing with an estate when someone has died, or the affairs of someone who cannot now do so for themselves, involves more than just the law: compassion and social awareness are also relevant. I can empathise with my clients, whatever their backgrounds and problems, to tailor my services to their needs.
What clients say:
`We were very happy with the services provided by Richard Lane… He was very sympathetic to xxxx’s condition and was at great pains to help him understand. Many thanks’.
`Listened well, gave valuable advice ’.
